Meet Mike Draper
Mike is a Senior Executive with a very successful 32 year career developing and executing business plans that result in accelerated growth. Mike is especially experienced in developing marketing and sales plans for new business start-ups and small to mid-sized construction companies that are driving for above-market revenues and profits.
For the last 12 years, Mike has specialized in working with companies with revenues between $1 million and $20 Million. Renovantage's typical client is a construction company in either residential or commercial construction with annual sales of $1 million or more that is looking to achieve controlled growth with a long-term outlook. Taking advantage of One on One coaching, a client can move at their desired pace of improvement. All of our coaching is geared to the needs, goals and challenges of each individual client. We do not follow not a set program for every client regardless of their needs.
Prior to his 12 years at Renovantage, Mike spent close to 20 years helping High-Tech, US based companies come to Canada and expand their Canadian operations. By understanding the unique challenges of doing business in Canada, Mike provided an accelerated path to success in the Canadian Marketplace where he sold more than $57 million of products and services. During this period, Mike spent 6 years with Alcatel Canada working large multi-million dollar contracts.
Mike is a co-founder of Renovantage and has been advising contractors on how to grow their businesses through improved Sales and Marketing. He has helped business owners gain control of their time in order to achieve a better balance in their lives since 2008.

Mike received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Toronto’s York University. He has completed professional training including Executive Focused Selling, Major Account Selling Strategies, Face to Face Selling Skills, Canadian Investment Finance, and the Canadian Securities Course.
Sports are another pursuit of Mike’s and he has successfully coached some of the best water skiers in Canada, many of whom have become top competitors in the world. As a fully certified NCCP Level III Coach through the Coaching Association of Canada, Mike is a former Head Coach of the Canadian Junior Water Ski team and former Level 2 CSIA Snow Ski Instructor. He was also on the Board of Directors of the Muskoka Ski club in Huntsville, Ontario for over 10 years serving as the President and Past President for 4 years.
